Cassie Marchuk is a certified Pilates Instructor
from STOTT PILATES® receiving training in
Halifax, NS and Vancouver, BC.
STOTT PILATES® is one of the most
comprehensive teacher-training programs in the
world, and is considered a professional
standard of excellence and innovation. To
maintain certification STOTT PILATES®
Instructors are required to take Continuing
Education.
She has completed workshops for: Pre-Natal
Pilates, Post-Natal Pilates, Pilates for Sport
Conditioning, Pilates for Golf, as well as
post-rehab techniques for the shoulders and
pelvis.
She has completed further specialized training
in Cadillac, Chair and Barrels with Marie Jose
Blom (Smart Spine Training) and Colleen
Jorgensen's Rehab Through Pilates. Recently,
Cassie has been taking training in the Boulder
style of Pilates with Matilda Christensen and
Pilates From the Center- a classically trained
school of The Pilates Center Teacher Training
Program in Boulder, CO.
She feels learning new techniques is important
to keep her training innovative.

Margery Corrigan is a fitness, post-rehab and
Certified Pilates Instructor. She began her
fitness career more that 15 years ago working
through the levels of Weight Trainer, Aerobics
Instructor, Aquatic Exercise and Personal
Trainer.
Her passion for fitness led her to complete the
Kinesiology-based Fitness & Exercise
Management Diploma in 2000 at UCFV.
Margery focuses on fitness for all levels. She
expanded her scope to Post-rehab (specialized
fitness programming for people recovering from
injury or illness). Helping people to preserve
their bodies through a long and active life is her
goal.
When she was introduced to STOTT Pilates
approximately 10 years ago, she realized what
a profound exercise it was. It is the perfect
mesh of strength, mobility, and core. Since that
time she has been happy to share this method
with her clients.
She practices Pilates as part of her own fitness
program. It has helped her to continue to run
several times per week, work in her garden,
play with her granddaughter and enjoy a
healthy, active life into the second 1/2 century
of her life!

Amber Durant is a Certified Instructor through
STOTT PILATES®. Taking her training in
Reformer, Mat and Chair in Vancouver, BC.
She has a background in teaching ballet, tap,
and jazz. She also taught pole dancing for
exercise in 2005 where she trained with
Aradia Fitness- Canada's first pole dancing
school.
She found Pilates in 2001 and fell in love with
all that it had to offer and has been
developing her technique since then.
She has also started to train in the Boulder
Method of Pilates with Matilda Christensen
from Pilates From the Center- a classically
trained school of The Pilates Center Teacher
Training Program in Boulder, CO.
Amber enjoys learning new techniques to
teach her clients. She has an appreciation for
life and loves to help people get the most out
of it by showing them how to build strength
from the inside out.
Her enthusiasm for movement and Pilates is
appreciated by all of her clients.
Amanda McDermid began her love of dance at
the age of three and has been teaching dance
for ten years. She teaches many forms of
dance, including ballet, tap, hip hop and jazz.
Amanda has always valued physical fitness
and got involved in Pilates to further her
personal health. She was fascinated by how
much control and focus Pilates workouts
demanded- and was hooked!
She has since taken her STOTT Pilates training
in both Mat and Reformer in Kelowna, BC
She enjoys teaching Pilates and body
mechanics to her new students and loves to
see them experience the benefits of Pilates.
She is also interested in the rehabilitative
benefits that Pilates has to offer and looks
forward to taking further training.
Amanda has great energy and her smile will
always have you feeling at ease. No matter
what your fitness level or stage in life, Amanda
